Over the years we have seen many timepieces that have broken the barriers of conventional watch design. But a brand new watch from HYT unveiled for 2015 just broke those design barriers even further.
Resembling something from a futuristic biker wasteland, these designs are something that Johnny Blaze would gladly trade his fiery chain whip for in a heartbeat. If only he had a beating heart. Using some type of fluid mechanics, inside each of these titanium watches is a red or green liquid that moves inside a skull shaped capillary to indicate the hours and seconds, with the seconds hidden behind the eyes. What is even more daring is there is no minute hands in order to keep with the primitive imagery style they are designed. We suppose this watch function is more targeted for design enthusiasts as it’s difficult to understand how one can ascertain the exact time of day.. That’s what your cell phone is for.
The watch itself is both a mechanical and hydro system that is contained in waterproof circuit inside extremely tight spaces. One of the reasons perhaps that the power indicator is located on the back of the watch. The watch comes in two models, red and green. The red one looks kind of like Iron Man at first glance
