Skateboarding is Now Feasible for Really Lazy People Who Hate Using Energy
What to learn to skateboard by can’t be bothered to move your legs? Fortunately, science has come up with an answer. An electric powered skateboard that propels itself while you enjoy the ride. This way you get to save all your real energy for the ramps at the park.
The Zboard 2 is the successor to the Zboard electric skateboard which debuted in 2012 and is better in every respect. This model has two versions, Blue and Pearl, with the latter offering the more impressive range. Both have a top speed of 20 miles per hour and utilize brushless 500w motors. Perhaps the most impressive thing is that it can travel up to 24 miles on a single charge. Need to charge it? Don’t worry, find an outlet to plug it in while you sip your caramel macchiato and 90 minutes later you’re ready to go; fully charged again.
While we imagine they probably won’t be the most ‘trick friendly’ of boards, there clearly is an audience out there for them seeing as the project has thus far raised over $288,000 on Indiegogo. You could say it has found its footing…
