Everyone knows the DeLorean from Back to the Future franchise, but few people really look further behind that. The DeLorean DMC-12 was a one hit wonder in the 80’s as it was the only model produced by the DeLorean Motor Company. Everyone knows the model for its gull-wing doors and steel body, but a man by the name of Rich Weissensel from Barcroft Cars is giving the old models new life.
This 50-year-old has used models to create a DeLorean monster truck, hovercraft, convertible, and limousine. This guy uses parts from the scrapyard out of respect for the DeLoreans still running on the road and doesn’t plan on stopping his creative process. All the DeLorean needs is a Flux Capacitor.
