Beautiful Manhole Covers Conceal an Otherwise Ugly World

In today’s modern world, we sure take a lot for granted. We live in luxury with electric light, not candlelight. We drive to work polluting our ecosystem, not flying on rainbows. We use the bathroom in not a smelly outhouse but a private bathroom, but think for a minute. Where does it go?

Though we shudder to think of it, our business goes underground to the sewer system. You know what a manhole is and where it leads, but our foreign neighbor Japan is bringing a little bit of beauty in a stinky urine and feces-filled world.
